Power Surge has been a labor of love from the beginning. It was created on America Online in 1993 as a message board, and then formally introduced in the Baby Boomers forum in February, 1994. Power Surge has had the pleasure of being associated with the Women's Network, Thrive, Oxygen Media and then offered an AOL partnership.

In 1996, when the Internet went public, I created Power Surge's sister Web site, www.power-surge.com and we're still going strong 10 years later!

It's been TEN wonderful and gratifying years. The testimonials and E.mails so many of you have written let me know I must be doing something right -- and just knowing that Power Surge has been so helpful to so many women going through the difficulties of the transitional years. The praise and awards Power Surge has received have been rewarding, and the articles about Power Surge have all made the work that has gone into this community worthwhile.

I look forward to the start of Power Surge's 11th year online, and to joining with old friends and new in celebrating TEN YEARS online (yikes!) supporting and providing the best information for women in menopause.
