Been on Estratest for 2 months. It has helped with most symptoms--have more lubrication, no night sweats, no migraines, reasonable periods with no cramping, no hot flashes----in every area except the libido department --which is the main reason I wanted to try it. No excitement, not even a tingle or twinge, no increased blood flow down below and no hint of an orgasm. Anybody else on this? Does it take awhile to kick in? I thot surely after this long I'd be seeing better results in the sex area. My Dr. wants me to stay with it for awhile. Is there something else I need to add to this regiment? My Dr. doesn't do hormone level tests--just prescribes based on symptoms.

Hi,
I went on Estratest for the same reason; my libido virtually disappered when the first hot flash appeared. While Estratest works on every other symptom, it hasn't helped at all in this area; my libido hasn't improved at all. It's a shame drug companies invest so much in fixing men's problems, and not much on ours!

I never tried Estratest because I heard it was too strong for many women; but I do use regular Estrace and 2% testosterone cream - now that worked in the libido area!
