hi everyone, i am wondering if my counselor is right when she says that "no-matter what your using and how good you sometimes feel, your hormones are still going to fluctuate and your still going to have bad days ,weeks, and months."it makes sense to me,so im trying not to set myself up for a fall anymore by thinking that ive finally gotten my doses of creams and pills right and ill never feel bad again. i also make the mistake of raising and lowering my doses of stuff every time i feel bad and i think thats screwing things up too.so what id like to know is... is she right? and should i quit messing with my doses and just wait for the bad days to pass?and id also like to know the different doses and strengths of progesterone cream all you women are using. im using 10% cream at 100mg during the first half of cycle and 200mg during second half. what do you all think about that?thanks, sue

Hi Sudio,
I think your counsellor is right, our hormones are always going to fluctuate a certain amount. I am post meno now and I still have two weeks of feeling pretty good, and then two weeks of not so good, and these not so good weeks I get all sorts from feeling low and weepy to digestive problems. I think what happens is that all the symptoms lose their intensity, and because we have been through hell and back we become more philosophical about it all and finally accept our symptoms as being hormonal. Also having all the wonderful women on this board to relate to and chat to and support is so calming, you really do have friends here. Everything at the beginning of meno seems so overwhelming, I know, just trust that you will get through it. I'm sorry I can't help you with doses of progesterone cream as I never used it, but lots of the women here have, try on the Progesterone board, keep posting and keep reading, you'll learn such a lot.
Luv Jenniffer:P
