I just registered today. I have many of the 34 signs posted on the sight. Of late hot flashes and night sweats seem to be the overriding irritant. I have two questions for anyone out there, though. (1) Often when the night sweats wake me up I have a burning sensation in the stomach, almost like heartburn. I never have this any other time except when I wake up at night very hot and (2) Has anyone experienced unexplained hives? I have them on the my chest and upper arms. I am wondering if this has to do with sweating so much at night. Apprciate any feedback.

Well, I was just wondering if hives were another menopause symptom, because I am having what I think are hives for the first time in my life. Itchy bumps are popping up in various places on my body! I just started on revival soy, so I'm concerned that may be the cause. I've been consuming soy for years, but not in such a concentrated form. I can't blame my hives on hot flashes, because I am not having any at this time. Apparently it can be very difficlult to determine the cause of hives, but I did read that excessive heat can be one of the causes...
