I posted a message a few days ago asking if anyone knows how to get natural relief if you cant use soy products because of a thyroid problem.  Several people have read my message but no replies as yet.  Does anyone know any alternative to soy apart from red clover which I have tried?  Pls help me if you can.  I am getting desperate.  It is my 51st birthday tomorrow and I am not looking forward to anything any more until this horrible time has past.

Oh, poor Robyn! I hope you have happy birthday tomorrow.I'm araid I can't help you at all with your question, I don't use anything at the moment.Just wanted to reply cos you sounded a bit abandoned. The boards are quieter this time of year, but I'm sure somone will answer you soon.Dearest is always advising us to use the whole forum and not just the message boards, have you tried there to see if there is any help?Good luck, and happy 51st!! smile.gif

bundy, first a big Happy Birthday!

Secondly, I don't know what kind of thyroid problem you have, but if you take Synthroid, it is possible to use Revival (soy) with that, if you space them apart.

There are lots of other possiblilties, too, depending on your symptoms.  Check out the Power Surge Recommendations Page for lots of other ideas.  You can either get there by clicking that link or through the Power Surge Quick Links on the top right of any page here.

Best of luck to you and Happy Birthday!

Hi Bundy,I know alot of people who use black cohosh  or don quai. There are several others. You should see them listed at the recommendations link.
