hi everyone....i have noticed when everybody describes their hot flashes they say it starts from the waist up, their faces feel real warm....im expierencing hot feet and hands alot lately. is this a flash also?

I wasn't sure where to post this....this spot sounded good. I have different types of hot flashes...there's one type that kinda scare me and catch me off guard.......the face/head flash.It starts in my cheeks and spreads through my head and feels like my head will pop like a pimple.I don't get these type very often,but when i do,i get a tid bit panicky from them because they feel so weird.Today in the store,i actually had to sit down for a minute because i felt sooooo hot and dizzy and hubby blew his breath in my face to try and help.Anyone else have the face flashes?

Hi Jade, I do get the face flashes, but not as severe as yours. My mom used to turn beet-red and LOOK like her head was going to pop! What a sweet hubby you have!

I HATE the face/head flashes because they're so strong and so unexpected that i almost feel like i'm gonna have a panic attack and i kinda freak out......if i could just remember it's a hot flash and not think i'm panicking,i'd be ok.

I've had them start at my feet and work their way up, don't think there are any set rules to when or where, had them for 10 years, still haven't found a cure except HRT and don't like the risks.
