Any of you ladies out there have MOON FLASHES ?? I notice my flashes are more frequent & more intense during the full moon. Two weeks ago it was bad news for me ; a bad flash every time I woke up from a short nap or in the morning.  I 've even gone outside at nite in 20 degree weather in my undies to cool off. I had surgical menopause in '97 & didn't want HRT.  I had some flashes but they were mild & I took remifemin for awhile. After suspicious mammo & biopsy (atypical ductal hyperplasia which can turn to breast cancer in some) I joined the STAR study ( comparing Tamoxifen & Raloxifene in breast cancer prevention) and a side effect of both drugs is HOT FLASHES mad.gif That's when I started noticing that sometimes they got worse. I kept record of those times & what I did & ate & only major variable was the full moon. Other women have told me the same thing happens with them. Anyone else out there have this experience ???

Hello, Guenwyvar!

I do not know if I have more issues at Full Moon, but remember, it's no mystery that the full moon impacts the tides, and the pull of water on Earth. As we are something like 75% water, this can impact our bodies in ways we cannot begin to imagine.

On the factual practical side, the electrical balance and electrolyte balance in the body is impacted by water - nerve impuses, nerve signals, and your hear and brain all run off electricity, water conducts electricity, and it would not surprise me if in fact many of us have this same problem - only maybe we never took notice.

Unfortuantely or Fortunately, since I started using Revival Soy products, My hot flashes vanished, so I have no way to check into this to tell ya. You may wish to consider ensuring you have your minerals covered - sufficient Potassium, Calcium, Magesium, etc.

Very interesting! ohmy.gif)Mary Beth
