A lovely article and lovely thought.  I do sleep better when my husband is out of town--can watch whatever I want on t.v.--read until midnight--sleep in the middle of the bed--eat breakfast in bed.  Somehow I cannot, however, imagine not being in the same bed with him.  We spend every evening after our son goes to bed, talking, holding hands, reminiscing, planning and lately, talking about menopause and the effect it has had on our lives.  I'm afraid I could not give this precious time up.
