Hi Jan,       I'm really glad you made an appointment with your counsellor.   Good for you taking care of yourself right now.  :)  One thing I like to do when I miss my girls is to make them care packages.   You know a care package is never refused at college; my girls tell me even store bought things taste better when they come in a care package.  LOL   I've had lots of fun hunting for something silly they used to like when they were little; then they always seem to get a kick of comparing simple childhood memories with their friends (nostalgia for them and me-hehehe).   Take care!            ~Helen

Great advice Helen!  Care package is a great idea!

HUGS, jan..  Glad you made appt!   You have so many issues you're dealing with!  No wonder you feel like you're in a rut!

Baby steps, jan........just baby steps......don't put too much pressure on yourself.

Helen, thanks.........

That is a good idea about the care package.  My son would love that.  I haven't been to see my counselor lately, and with the way this week has been, I thought I better get in to see her.  How are you doing these days?

Leanne, Thanks, I'm doin the best I can, one step at a time,  altho some of those steps seem like strides, and it's hard to keep up .  Hope you are taking care of you too.

Hi Ladies........ Well it's coming up on the 2 year mark that my hub was dx'd with cancer, so October is gonna be a tough month to get through sad.gif and the 2 year mark of his death is in January. So much has been happeing in my personal and my families lives lately, that I don't even know which way is up. I wish my life would settle down, but it seems like that is asking to much. I had the worst period of my life last month, and am waiting for this months to start. I have been on the hormonal roller coaster ride of emotions once again. I am so thankful that I have somewhere to come to and talk about all the things that are on my mind, and having friends here that understand at least part of what I am going through at this time in my life..... Hope you are all taking good care of yourselves, and taking it one day at a time like I am, as it's the best way to get through it all.

Hi Ladies..... Thanks for your kind words, they mean alot to me. Yesterday marked 2 yrs since he was dx'd. I stayed pretty busy throughout the day so that helped. Last night was a little tougher, but I made it through ok. I haven't been posting much lately as my life has been oh so hectic and never ending family health issues are still happening. When will we ever get a break is beyond me. I have been at the hospital so much the past 2 yrs and so want a break from having to go there. Seems I can never let my guard down, cuz something else happens and I have to rush out of the house to help and be with family members in need. It's wonderful having family tho and I am so blessed to have such a great one. We are all there for each other, which is so important to us all. I just we could all be a little more healthier!! I hope you are all taking care of yourselves. I miss coming here and supporting you all. When or if things calm down around here, I will be back posting on a more regular basis again. Be good to yourselves!
