Dear Friends,

    I enjoy your friendship so much!  I've held back  on saying much about my music for fear of jinxing my good fortune, but I am so pleased to have you to share it with.  

    Last spring, I recorded a CD of original songs I have written over the past twenty years.  I just wanted  to record the music before I got too old and lost my voice!   I recorded it in Nashville and the CD is called "Starting All Over - A Veteran's Legacy".   Surprisingly, it has taken on a life of its own and I have been in a year long crash course on the business side of the music industry!

"Land of the Free", a cut from the album, is being sent out as a single this week to 2470 radio stations across the country and  1000 overseas.  For now, life is still blissfully simple, but I'm told to expect a roller coaster ride this next year.  

    Within the next week or so, you may request to hear it at,  hopefully, any of your favorite country or adult contempory radio stations.  It's on a special release product called CDX 308, which also includes the newest singles coming out by Travis Tritt and Toby Keith.   I don't have a copy of it yet, but hope to get my copy one day this week.

    There are days when I tell myself I'm way too old for this!  Call it middle aged crazy  But if you would like to hear some music clips from the CD,  there are a couple of links that should get you there.  Try one of these two or

    I've been lost in cyberspace again!  This time my husband put our computer in his office, which has no internet yet  I've been trying to make do with an old computer that the PS boards don't recognize.  Its been a challenge.  Will try to get back up with my old login name soon!

    Thanks for the kind words.  It's really been an interesting year.  I know God has a sense of humor, because I've been "surging" my way through this whole process LOL!!

    Gem, I understand there's a good chance the product my single is on will also go to the UK.  Now whether the DJs will play it or not is another question!

    You should be able to hear clips of three of the songs on the site. They sound pretty good on most computers, but if you have problems hearing them, let me know.
