I can understand your anxiety and there's nothing bizarre about your feelings. Maybe if you read this, you'll look upon the situation differently.

if it helps any, I had a bird in the house years ago, too. i got it outside...and lived to tell the tail. Err, tale ![]()
I think that's another of those old wive's tales that can be put to rest. I know that they can be scary sometimes, though, and I'm glad that it got out ok ![]()
I'm glad that you have a Golden...they're such adorable puppies and dogs
You need fear nothing. Think of birds in your house as a ramification of your desire to spread your wings!!
And Dearest,What an adorable graphic of the dancing birds -- and how appropriate!
I'd love to have a bird in my house!! . . . (of course, Olivia the Destructo-Cat would make a meal of it in no time!)
Never fear, Maureen, consider it a sign of growth and personal expansion.

How about a hyena in the hacienda? A llama in the livin room? A dromadery in the den? A kangaroo in the kitchen? A baboon in the bathroom?
The thought of it is too wonderful! (and too smelly!)
Sylvry: No, the giraffe popped it's head over the zoo fence, it would have had to cross the road to get to my sister-in-law's (or stretched a bit more ) They brought a mate for it eventually and moved it to a bigger housing complex (the giraffe that is).
Not sure I'd be too easy with your house pets (are you sure it's just Olivia there ????
