I think I'm in perimenopause and I've noticed the last few months that my longish hair is matting very easily. I wake up in the mornings with the underside of my hair looking and feeling like buffalo fur.
Is this a possible symptom of peri and is there anything I can do about it?

Could that be from night sweats?

If it is, they aren't waking me up and I'm not getting up in the morning with wet hair. A few months ago I did have night sweats and hot flashes, but did not have these problems with my hair.

There are all sorts of hair suggestions in an article I have in the Educate Your Body area of the Web site. It's called Hair Loss and Thinning at Menopause. There are lots of useful suggestions for a host of hair problems.
