Anyone tried that natural Minerals Makeup?   Saw it on the infomercial.   I like the idea of natural instead of chemicals and without a makeup feel.    The women looked glowy.

Hi Nancy - I've tried it.  It was OK, but I don't think I looked as glowy as the women on the infomercial.  It's good if you don't like the heavy feel of liquid foundations, or if you have perfect skin.  I kind of expected it to make my skin look 25 again, but I could still see my pores!  I was also looking for something that could go all day without looking cakey, and keep the occasiional breakouts at bay, but it didn't do that either.  So, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't the miracle I was hoping for!

I didn't think it wa all that.  It is a little cakey looking, even after I learned to put on less and buff properly.  And it REALLY shows up under-eye wrinkles!!!   If I put extra moisturizer here to counter-act this effect, I get the minerals adhering way too much to the cream, and then it looks worse.  It's not  very portable, or convenient.  By the time you get on the two colors (or whatever) and the mineral veil, and the warmer color that is kind of like bronzer (and looked very muddy on me), you've spent alot of time too---I threw mine out.  Now I'm back to powder if it's insufferably hot (a translucent) and a little cream to powder under that if I need more or going out.
