I thought I had covered all the bases but now something new!! The last two weeks on and off my teeth have been hurting.  At first, I thought it was just hot/cold sensitive but last night and today my upper jaw actually aches. The good news is my knees and elbows don't ache--I think it has moved to my jaw.I know there is not much I can do but I just want to make sure I am not going crazy--AGAIN!!Love to all

Hey, Maureen.... I want MY knee and leg pain to move to my jaw....  then I could kill two birds with one stone... be able to walk better, and curb the eating!    Seriously, I am sorry about your jaw, and congrats on the knees and jaw!
Snowbird
Hey, Vickie;)I was gonna say, "Bite Your Tongue" *giggle*, but I won't:biggrin:toooo much tongue 'n cheek stuff, thar:cheesy::cool:

Having said that, heehee!! Maureen....I think I know what you mean!! I just never talked about it!! Chalked it up to fibromyalgia or some weird....mysterious....unknown....yet to be discovered....or, "the Bird has really lost it this time" type of thing!;)If I understand you correctly...and there is a very slight, (ever so slight;))possibility that I haven't:cheesy: it's JAW, not necessarily JOINT pain, right??!!If that's what you're saying.....I do get that....had it yesterday:( I really don't know what it is:confused: There were times I thought I had several tooth aches at once:o:o Nadda!!  With closer examination, I found it to be the jaw!!  So....I don't know....I suffer this too....from time to time!! It's weird.....and being weird....I just wrote it off as another menopause thingy:angry: Would be nice to know, tho'wink.gif

Maybe someone ELSE can come on board to shed some light, other than, *ahem*:biggrin:Vickie, (with tongue in cheek):biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin: "ONLY KIDDING"....couldn't resist....no pun intented!! LOL! Kill too birds, with one stone.........indeed!!ohmy.gif:biggrin: Not on my watch!! Ha!!Luv ya;)((((((((Huggers))))))) ~*Snowy*~ Too:cool:

I have this quite often.  Mine is caused by TMJ and it is worse when I am tense and am clenching my jaw muscles.  It can also be caused by changes in the weather which bother my sinuses.  Usually just some tylenol will help.

OOoopsss, Maureen... I meant congrats on the knees and elbows!

Hey, Snowy, you think you are bad....  you see I had to edit that last one...  when I tried to correct it, I still screwed it up!  This has not been a good day for me at all!  I even had to void out two checks at the store today because I signed the wrong name, not once, but TWICE!  Then, I was out of checks...didn't realize I was low!  I hope tomorrow is better for us both!!
Snowbird
HeHeHeHe!!!I don't feel so bad now;) Signing a check with the wrong name......twice!! *giggle*Yep....it's Tuesday......and the day is young....and I have a doctors appoint' this afternoon!! Aaaargh!!  It should be non-eventful...cuz, all I'm goin' for is to renew a couple of meds!!  Problem is, that's usually, when we have words:angry: Not over anything I've said or done!! He's just in a mood to vent.....over some silly thing...that concens him, not me!!  Why me!!  *Sigh* Maybe today, will be different!!Jaw pain!! Ha!! Sometimes I'd like to let HIM know what that is!! Opppps...sorry....just lettin a little steam off, before it occurs:biggrin:wink.gif(((((Huggers))))))  ~*Snowy*~

As always thank you ladies.  I think it was an ache from weather changes.  Sunday morning it rained , I took some Tylenol and it was better when I woke up Monday!!If it is not one thing it is another.  Love to all
Kalanie
Glad you are doing better now, Maureen!

Hi Maureen,I just went through about 2 months of jaw pain and tension.  It caused my neck to be tense and sore too -- couldn't turn my head to look at traffic etc.  I think I may be clenching in the night or something!  I know you can get mouth guards to sleep in for that.  I'll talk to the dentist when I go at the end of the month.  I know how miserable that is.  I even thought it might be my estradial that was causing it.  I went off for a while but it didn't get better so---- not sure why that happens.  I don't even feel stressed more than usual :confused:Let me know if you find an answer, ok?

Silly wishing now but these boards could have saved me heaps of pain/worry/expense a few years ago.  I had terrible jaw ache, even to the point of telling the dentist to pull a wisdom tooth, which when out was perfect ugh!!!  Had a nice dry socket from that foolishness, more pain.  Kept telling myself I was clenching the jaw at night, medication didn’t help.  Anyway my doctor was on holiday and I had to see his partner asked him about the jaw ache he couldn’t find anything related to ears/sinus, said try antihistamine, not the drowsy ones, sounds silly but it worked for me.
