Power Surge Forums > Board Discussions > Am I Starting Perimenopause?
christine12116
I posted a few weeks ago about my symptoms. I thought I had a disease and I was freaking out. I will be 42 yrs old next month. It all started with the tingling in my hands and feet, muscle aches, anxiety, twitches etc.... Can anyone help me with this question? I have been having a period since October 20th. Some days it's there only when I go to bathroom, other days it's light. I know I am in Peri, that was my family doctors diagnoses. Is this bleeding a part of that??? I feel fine in every other way and the other symptoms stopped when the period started.
Ms. Anxiety
I myself have not experienced this symptom, but I have read the posts of other ladies on this board who have. I do have one suggestion. I have often used a tea by Yogi called moon cycle that seems to help even out my hormones during my cycles. I purchase mine at a health food store. Perhaps this would be worth a try.

Hi Christine,
I have had the same symptoms as you since last may : tingling in feet and hands, anxiety, twiching (part of perimenopause). You can take magnesium just before going to bed, it is a muscles relaxant, which will help with the twitches. As for your bleeding, my friend had the same problem (bleeding on and off for 3 months). I know it is scary especially since you have anxiety and I know how you feel. I am getting used to it now. I had twitches last night again and now the tingling come and goes but had been non stop for months, today it is in my scalp.
take care

p.s. Christine,
don't google as I did as i freaked out! Go and read as much posts as you can on PS. I felt so much better after reading many posts. You will find a lot of info on your many symptoms and on nutrition and supplements. It is hard not to worry but you have come to the right place to find comfort and answers. I know I did.
