Hi Ladies, for all those that replied to my original recent post, thank you. I am happy to announce just a half an hour ago I found out my pap came back Negative for epithelial cell abnormality. I really was petrified about this as I am in the perimenopause (high FSH), i've had alot of strange sensations in the vaginal area for awhile. The walls feel like there sticking together and there is not as much moisture, i also sometimes just get strange jabs, i really thought i had cervical cancer. Anyway I am really relieved. I really pored on the good nutrition in the last four months to turn this thing around. Trista 5

Hi, thanks paticake for validating my vagina jabs, weird arn't they. Must have something to do with estrogen declining.

I had a feeling yours would be negative, just like mine was. I too had those pains and other strange things occuring including the vaginal walls feel like they were sticking....interesting you use that terminology because that is just what it feels like. Anyway, I am one week away from one year without periods so next week is my "Crone" week where I enter the realm of the "wise woman" and my next stage of life. Anyway congrads on your negative test......I have a feeling once the hormones stop or level off these abnormal findings tend to go away also.

It was just last November (one year ago) I was 54 at the time and now I am 55. I have to admit even though I still have lots of symptoms like hot flashes, anxiety etc it is nice being without the additional burden of heavy periods. Alll last year I still carried pads, tampons etc with me when I stayed away for a night or more just in case. Finally in October my husband and I went away for a mini vacation for 5 days and I left it all at home........what a nice feeling.....
