HI,
New to all of this. Can anybody share what kind of BHRT your on and what dosages you take. I have read that you must find your optimal dosage and some take much higher doses, can anyone add to this.

When I finally started replacing hormones, I chose the vivelle dot estrogen patch at the lowest dose (.0275). That was years ago and I have increased the dose to the strongest strength it comes in, which is .1 mcg. I took my dose up very slowly as I am very sensitive to most medications. I didn't need to add progesterone immediately, as I have had a hysterectomy. I now use otc progesterone cream, compounded testosterone cream (2-3x week) with my estrogen patch.

I started over two years ago (almost 3) and amidst a lot of tweaking and changing, I am now at 1.5 pill of 1mg estrace, 1cc of 0.5 testosterone compound daily and I add 4% vaginal Progesterone every 3rd month for 5 days. I'm feeling much better... not always great, but better.

I have to add that I also take vitamin D supplements and I think they help me as much as my hormones.
