Ladies, I know a lot of us here spiral into the pit during winter months. I have a Happy Lite that provides no benefit whatsoever and much of what I read on-line about light therapy products centers on the benefits coming via the eye. I belief that kind of light therapy is more to do with circadian rhythms and less with internally manufactured Vitamin D, via sunlight.
I've read that it's not possible to get sufficient Vitamin through diet, and I already have Rx's and OTC cream and pills. I know I respond to direct sunlight and wonder if any of you have had success with any kind of light box.
During dark months I am really devoid of energy, focus or drive. I pretty much lose months of my life and know many of us here have the same problem. I'm hoping to get some kind of pre-emptive gear on hand before I bite the dust. And get us thinking about ways to get around it this time.
Thanks
