I'm driving the other day and suddenly I felt as though instead of heading south (which I was) like I was going east. It really freaked me out - not really sure why - as it was a street I go down a lot and this is the first it ever happened. Now I'm obsessing over this. Every time I leave my house I think about this and almost MAKE myself look at any street in the wrong direction - does any of this make sense to anyone else or has this happened to anybody else, or am I totally losing it??
Dear 'jones'
No ,my dear, you are not losing it!
Myself and some good friends experience very similar things when driving.I often lose my way to familiar places or drive off in totally the wrong direction.
Also when traffic is very heavy it makes me anxious and sweaty!
I do not go out in the evening very often as I find the headlights of oncoming cars very disconcerting.
So please try not to obsess over this.
Things will happen in their stages and eventually start to calm down
Warm Wishes
Elizabeth
P.S. I hate to be anyone's passenger as am sure we are going to crash!
