I want to know if anyone is in the same boat as me. I am 49 yrs. old and in periomenopause and have osteoporosis and the dr's of course want me to take the drugs. I want to know if anyone in perio. is taking a drug for osteoporosis ?? Which one. I know they are usually not recommended for us perio.'s because of birth defects but I never was pregnant - could not get and do not plan on it. Need info.
