Dear 'little lil'
Am sorry no-one replied to your question.
My daughter-in-laws Mother had a Post Menopause hysterectomy and seemed to recover quite well.I believe it was done because of very large fibroids that would cause pelvic pain and bleeding
This was about a year ago.I spoke to her recently and she says she feels quite well but does require a small dose of Xanax to help her sleep.
She certainly looks very well. She exercises a lot and seems to be quite health conscious.
Are you thinking of having one?
If so I wish you lots of luck and hope you get some more answers from ladies who have been through this personally.
Hope I was of some help
Warm Wishes
Elizabeth

Thank you I had one and not having a good time!
Anna
I was post when I had my hyster and I thing the biggest problem was the increased anxiety. It wasn't too terribly bad but was a marked difference than what I had prior to the surgery. Its been a year+ and and hot flashes that had increased have subsided. My body did need to make adjustments but I think things are on the upswing now!!! Good Luck!!
