I am using an OTC retinol product and am thinking about getting Retin A. The more I read online the more I think the only true wrinkle cream is Retin A or an OTC retinol. Have you used either and if so for how long? What were your results?

I have used Retin A for many years - my derm says it is THE ONLY cream that truly helps with aging. It changes the dermis instead of just lying on the surface - go slowly though - only put a pea size drop on each side of the face - at first you will get the "peelies" - your face will peel a lot but that means that it is working - put glycerin on it and it will go away - also use a lot of moisturizer - Retin A if used properly and if you can put up with the initial peeling will go a long way in rejuvenating your skin - start with 0.5 cream and work your way up to 1.00 - good luck

I use it, too. However, I do not use it daily, so I probably don't get the total benefit that I could be getting.

I use it for a good peel. I use it for 2-3 days in a row. When I start peeling, I use a soft buff puff. My skin is nice afterwards.

It is expensive...I paid $43.00 for a tube, but it last for a long time. A little goes a long way.

yes I have used Renova (that's prescription retin A in an emollient base) for years along with Vitamin C skincare products. I started using C skincare in my early 40's. I didn't have wrinkles yet...and didn't want to start getting them. LOL Fast forward to my middle 50's...and I still don't have them.

I recently was prescribed retin-a and have been using it faithfully as prescribed on both face and chest and hands. I feel as though I already am noticing a difference especially on all the sun spots on my chest area. I just had a Vitalize Peel done on my face, they said doing that and then continue to use retin-a along with my Obagi will do wonders.

Obagi is a great line. I have used it and or skinceuticals for years.

I wish I had gone on a retinoid product 5 years ago. Retin A just isn't as hyped as it used to be and I never knew OTC retinol products were any good.

The RoC Multi Correxion retinol product has really helped a lot.
