I have been trying for months to find a Dr. that will prescribe BHRT's. I've called numerous ob/gyn's within my insurance and none will prescribe them.

When I do searches I come up with a bunch of med spas and dermatologists that advertise bhrt therapy. Or if I want to drop over $1,000 I can go to Body Logic.

My hope is to find a Dr. within my insurance so I won't have to pay out of pocket

Look up a compounding pharmacy in your area. Call them and ask them for a list of doctors that they are currently working with...Tell them that you need someone who does not charge too much.

I emailed them and the only person they sent me was a dermatologist in my area who is not covered under my insurance (Aetna PPO)

I would not go to my ob/gyn for skin issues so I don't see why I would go to a dermatologist for hormone therapy.

All the Dr.'s I have found that deal with bhrt do not accept insurance which I find very disturbing. The actual bhrt's are covered but not their visits or bloodwork.
