Hi,
I have been having peri-symptoms for about a year (I am 37). Now I have pain in the lower "wall" of the left side of my vagina. I am very dry (which) just started in the past few months and I have horrible hemorrhoids right now (sorry to be so descriptive ).
Please let me know if anyone has experienced this pain..it is a dull pain and intermittent and I seem to feel it once every few days, but it is weird enough to worry me.
But every other peri symptom I have freaked out about has turned out to be peri.
Now I am worried about running to the doctor again for another peri symptom.

hi ..... yes, i have had that plenty of times, even just this last week. I experience that dull pain/ache, but also, shooting pains, stabbing pains, and pressure in the vagina! Isn't this fun?

Yeah, it's peri ..... remember, the walls of your vagina are muscular, and our muscles are GREATLY affected by the hormonal shifting we are now living through .... have you dealt with other muscular pains and aches that you didn't have before? Well, this is the same. Don't worry..... this is really all part of this change ....

I experience this pain off and on. It can leave for a few months, then out of the blue, it's back. For me, it's a dull ache, always on the left side. The dr. seems to think it's from lack of estrogen, and I agree. There's a site on line with tons of information on the vulva. If you're interested pm me and I'll get the name for you.

I have not felt this pain in a while but yes, lower left side; I have had that pain for at least 6-7 years. Could be dull or really achy. Stays for a while then goes away. It is funny as it is one of those pains that I never worried about as I worry about anything else about my health.
just another one of those pain as a way from your body to remind you that it is alive and kicking!

Cannot believe this post, just started with this last 2weeks an intermitent like twinge only lasts a few seconds,can have it a few times a day,then only occassionaly!!
Mine,s on the right STRANGELY enough most of my ailments are left

Wanted to start a thread on this but thought how do I describe this and also thought nobody will have this

But thank you all, I guess I can let this rest as is until I have my yearly in a few months as long as it stays the same.

I have it too. I just ignore it. At first I thought it was the bubble bath I use, but I think it's just a muscle pain of some sort.
