Hi Ladies
Sorry to have a moan but feeling awful today. I have been taking HRT evorel sequi FOR 2 MONTHS. As some of you may know it gives you estrogen for the first 2 weeks then prostegen is added for the last 2 weeks of the month.
My first month went OK for the first 2 weeks but the last 2 weeks was really bad with mood swings and PMT.

This month, again had a really good first 2 weeks, I am now on the 4th week and today I feel awful. I have the jitters, moody, feel giddy, have head zaps (which are brought on by anxiety), memory fog, can't sleep, restless legs, feels like pins and needles in legs, feel a bit strange. I think I am struggling with the prostegen. I did not feel as bad on it last month.

I am totally fed up today and wonder how long I have to feel like this. I had bad anxiety before but the prostegen makes it worse.
The only good thing now is, my flushes have nearly disappeared. I just don't know what to do. I really want to give it time but feel so ill. I cant feel like this for 2 weeks every month, I feel like taking the patch off?

Has anyone suffered like this/ Why do I feel worse this month? They are supposed to bring on a bleed but it has not happended, oh and my breasts are really sore.

Sorry to moan but I can't talk to my husband as he does not understand. I am really fed up.
I am due to go back to the menopause clinic until December. I do not think I can wait until then.

Don,.t worry about thinking you are moaning,it,s nice to get it off your chest.

I am no expert on hrt as I am not on it,but feel and get symptoms like you do.

Maybe you ought to see your Dr and discuss this with him.

I would definately call there and see if they can offer suggestions over the phone,, Im not taking anything and feel as you do at times when I get my cycle.. I just went 3 months without one and am happy to say that for the majority of those 3 months I really felt pretty good,, I think my biggest complaint would be the bloating ,, but the anxiety and all those other symptoms were managable,, I had about 2 weeks of some pretty nasty hot flashes ,, but thats about it .. now since my cycle .. I have the paranoia, health anxiety through the roof .. fear Im going to die of something horrible in the next 10 minutes (silly I know), anger, heart palps, internal shakes ,, basically all the nasty cr@p ,,, hoping this will calm down again in the next week or so and I can get back to feeling like I have the last couple of months. In any event .. if you felt better off the patch then on I would call this meno clinic and tell them that ,, they may tell you to quit using it.
