On the way to the airport today, taking daughter to her Alaska flight, my son asked a most interesting question. Once we all answered, he suggested that I come on here and ask you wonderful ladies what your answers would be. I have to report back to him tomorrow.

Question:

If you could be assured that you were allowed to do one thing without consequences of any kind, good or bad, what would that one thing be?

My answer was get the largest tank from the military with an unlimited supply of fuel and drive all over my neighborhood smashing cars that are parked on the street blocking the path for vehicles coming and going.

Hugs ladies, I hope you all are having a fantastic day.

P.S. My daughter left today and I cried like I have not ever cried in my life. She looked so small with her big ole carryon bag and tears streaming down her face. I am still crying and she is on her way!!!

(((((hugs to you stitch)
how smart of a question!
off hand, i'd take all evil out of this world, one by one....it may take me a very long time, yet i'd seek vengeance on each and every human being that took their "madness" out on someone else, i guess i'd have to have 9 lives to do so, then i'd have a piece of mind.

awww!!!! your little chick left the nest. Its sad for you but a new and exciting chapter in her life. Is she coming home for Christmas?
Sorry you have to go through another transititon I'm going to be a wreck when my daughter leaves.

As far as your sons question I would eat pizza everyday if I wouldnt get fat. Dont tell him this one but I'd also drink a bottle of wine evernight if I could
get away with it.

Take care,
Lara

Is it only one thing we can do without consequences?can it be one good thing and one bad thing?

If i could do one bad thing,i think i'd rob a bank
if i could do one good thing,i'd keep all the money

Bookworm56
Only one thing, eh?

I would make every pedophile and child abuser disappear---by whatever means necessary.
boohoo
well ladies, after getting rid of all the evil in this world, I can have all the pizza and hottie's you want also?...........it's a deal!

Leanne -- you know I think you're great, BUT -- what kind of answer is THAT? lol Quitting your job is not immoral, illegal or selfish --- sheeeeeeeeesh. Notice I'm not answering the question, though. lol

Stitch----it is so hard to see them leave. Hope you're feelling a little better.

I can't think of anything bad I would want to do. I would like to rid the world of all the nasty and evil people so I guess that would be my good thing.

I already feel good and bad tugging at my soul!

Good...I would sit at the grocery store...paying for everyone's groceries for the day!

Bad...I would go to the to the Cheesecake Factory and EAT Cheesecake for a week!

Hummm... I didn't see anything in the question stating it was about anything immoral, illegal, or selfish. I looked again and the question was "If you could be assured that you were allowed to do one thing without consequences of any kind, good or bad, what would that one thing be?"

Quitting my job would have a HUGE consequence so I stand by my answer laugh.gif tongue.gif

I just didn't feel like saving the world yesterday LOL laugh.gif I was more interested in saving myself!! My bad... LOL tongue.gif

OHHHH ... ok. lol I was interpreting it as a one-time thing you could do with a guarantee of not being caught or experiencing bad consequences, so I was thinking it would have to be something that would get you into major hot water in the short term as opposed to more of a life change. But hey, I was in brainfog and wanted to give you a hard time. lol

I'de give my husband all my meno symptoms, leave him with the kid's and the housework and then run off to some island for a month. No phones,no TV,just some good books,a good looking guy massaging my feet and feeding me chocolate with the sound of the waves in the background! This way nobody gets hurt!

Oh girl!!! I just love your answer. I was pissy yesterday at all the cars in the road in my neighborhood, that with my daughter leaving was the reason for my answer. I am thinking I sure like yours better!!!

Also my son wanted me to pass on his answer to said question:

He wants to know everything in the world.

He is a very crazy boy I think. I told him if he knew everything in the world, he might as well dress up as a large bull's eye!!!

I also wanted to thank everyone for their answers so far. My son is having a wonderful time reading them and hopes that you all come up with more of them. He has been asking everyone he sees and getting some unique answers.

Hugs to all,
Jeaninne

I would bag me some money....hey I am being honest! I would get it from somewhere where there was an abundance of it too.

I am so sorry that your DD has moved so far away. It is a very sad sad day when they up and say good-bye.
