Hi Spice. I have just recently begun having that symptom after eating. It is a feeling like my stomach is pushing upwards on my chest and causing a kind of shortness of breath. I don't have it every time. I don't know what is really causing it, but I am wondering if as we get older we just can't fill our stomachs as full or something. Anyway, I wanted to tell you that you are not alone.

I would see a dr. if I were you. I had the problem for over a year before I saw one. Ended up in the ER it got so bad. Not after I ate, but when I did the simplest of tasks, like bending over. Found I was severely anemic. It has taken MONTHS to just BEGIN to feel halfway normal.

I'm wondering if you could have a hiatal hernia?

Best to have it checked out, don't you think?
