Does anyone know if Estrogen or progesterone helps to reduce cysts on the ovary?

Possibly...it would likely depend on type and underlying cause of said cysts..In PCOS, it is thought that cysts develop because of anovulation..so it would seem to follow that simulating ovulation might help or stopping the process (as some physicians do through use of BCPs).
