QUOTE (angelinafina @ Oct 17 2009, 06:37 PM)

I have been on progesterone cream 2x day for 21 days on and 7 off, testosterone drops daily, 30 mg thyroid, and did really well for almost 2 yrs then lots of symptoms returned...anxiety, hot flashes, waking in middle of night, so went back and now they have added daily estradiol (evamist, 1 spray), and now instructed to not cycle, just take daily doses everyday...still considered perimenopausal, i'm 56, and now after about 6 weeks of being on this here are my symptoms...still get hot flashes at night, still wake up for a couple of hours 2 - 4 nights a week, so bloated and my stomach looks huge, gained several pounds and cannot get them off...also still quite emotional at the drop of a hat! Anyone have any ideas what may be going on???? Oh and also...less than 2 weeks on this regimen, had a period for 6 days, nothing for 5 days, then another light period for another 6 days...then 5 days ago started spotting again, very lightly, and very dark. Need any help I can get....thank you soooo much in advance!
Dear Angelina:
You need to cycle the progesterone, which means to use it on days 13 thru 26 of the cycle. The first day of bleeding is day # 1 of the cycle. You may also need to use 2 sprays of the Evamist to solve the anxiety, night sweats, waking up, and the hot flashes. Keep using the Evamist daily, and the testosterone daily and the thyroid daily and cycle the progesterone. Your weight will leave when you stop using the progesterone daily, and the other symptoms should dissapate once the levels get balanced and you cycle the progesterone. Hope this helps you, and please let me know if we can help you at all in the future. We do ship everywhere and accept hundreds of insurance plans.
