here are the results:
testosterone=61, dr says that is fine
estradiol less than 15, dr says that is totally low
estrone=29 dr says that is fine
progesterone=.6 too low
so she prescribed a compounded cream of .5% estradiol+2% estriol, .1 gram a day cream on forearm, daily
200mg of prometrium taken orally or vaginally from cycle day 14-28
I was not tested for fsh, lh, dhea, etc. or estriol.
I started the rxs a few days ago, and am hoping to see my bleeding regulated like a more normal cycle.
it is weird the way some of the hormones measured are fine and some are low. I am glad I have a great female doctor who measured and rxed carefully for exactly what I was missing, not just a once size fits all rx. that would make things worse I would imagine!!!!
