I've been struggling with bad depression for the past year which I know stems from the hormonal imbalance because I haven't been able to get the help I need. I've taken different supplements for a long time including Fish Oil but recently stumbled across this fish oil supplement called OM3 +EPA which are supposed to be highly concentrated pure fish oil formulated for mood control. I have been taking them for about 2.5 weeks now and I can't say for sure that they are what is in charge of this improved mood but I haven't done anything else different. I've all of the sudden noticed a much more calm and content type feeling, less anxiety, less depression, overall general good feeling, more hopeful.

hey Koko:

I'd say that it is quite possible that the omega supplement is having good effect. Of course with this hormone nonsense we never know where our hormones are at since they are always in a state of flux. I'd say just continue taking it. Would you mind responding with the name of the brand that you are using?

There are many who are reported to be helped by mega dosing of omega fatty acids. Congratulations and hopes for continued well-being.

Thanks! The company name is isodisnatura They have a website that has all the info about it along with testimonials and a simple test that you take to evaluate your state of mind when you first take them and then you go back and take the test again after a couple weeks to see if there is any improvement. They say usually it only takes about 3 mos. to really feel the full effect and at that time you can cut back on how many you take a day. I re-took the test after 2.5 weeks and saw a definite improvement in my overall score and was surprised. I only hope that it keeps working this well!! I go to my new dr. (endocrinologist) the end of next month, been waiting forever to get in, and I'm just praying that she will be able to help me. smile.gif

So far the only place it says you can buy them is at CVS Pharmacy, they were about $24.95 for 60 softgels.

I read that Krill Oil is even more potent than the other fish oils....I have just bought some - yet to take them as I am finishing my other one's - but I am hoping they have a similar effect.

I tried the Krill Oil a while back and didn't see anything happen as far as emotionally like I have with the OM3. I had heard the same thing about Krill Oil being the best but after taking this OM3 I am pretty convinced that it definitely does something for the emotions in a good way.
