Hi ladies:
It's been a while since I have not been here but I always look for reassurance with you my meno sis. This is what is going on. First of all for the last couple of months I have been feeling this sensations of pain in my legs especially in my veins if I touch them and they also look more notables, more blue than before. I went to the doctor and he just told me that veins becomes like that with age

and to make sure he order some blood test that of course came out that everything was just fine. So even though I was worried I assume it was another peri symptom and tried to cope with it. But yesterday the same thing happened but in my left arm especially around the elbow and my vein actually got king of bigger and very painful for a moment and it was so notable that my husband also notice how different was the vein. The pain went away but last night the pain came back and I still have it this morning. Let me mention that I can see like little spider veins in my arm where the pain is. My question is, have anyone of you feels this, or is it me, or should I visit the Doctor again even though he will not see a thing. I also need to mention that my hands have been numb or tingling for the past month, have been also feeling pain in my joints , could this be related to my period wich I am expecting any moment this week. Please anyone , I need answers I feel or either am losing it or I am going to die from a clog. Please help.
Casuja
Hi Casuja ...... no, you're not going to die! This is quite normal, and i've had EVERYTHING you mentioned. I can well remember, when my veins did the exact same thing, i was terrified! Just like you, my dr.said...it was no big thing, and to expect this with age and peri.....well, on one hand, i was releived, and on the other hand I thought for sure he didn't really get a close enough look, or maybe, he just didn't FULLY understand what I was saying! UGH! But, it was true....it was just another peri symptom, like all the rest you mentioned. Just yesterday, the top of my left leg, on the outer thigh, was numb ..... it was so strange! At first, I felt very panicky, but then I realized........peri!!!! Today, it's back to normal.
This is a very scary ride for most of us, but don't worry, you are not alone...and you're certainly not dying!
