I am recently feeling the change in vision and dont' like it. I have had glasses since I was 11 for being nearsighted. I can wear contacts for distance, and didn't need reading glasses until recently. Now, when I take my contacts out or my glasses off, I seem to need glasses for the close up things. For the record, I dont' like this. I feel a bit blurrier now than I used to. I know I am 49 and it is common, I am just complaining because I am feeling older from this. That's all, thanks for letting me vent.

I have had contacts/glasses since I was 24 and I am 42 now. I used to only need them for far off but over the years I need them ALL the time. It stinks.

I am riding this boat too. Been wearing glasses since my 20s but only for distance. Now I can see anything unless I have glasses on!!! It do make one feel older somehow.

I can't read a thing without my reading glasses. I always forget to bring them with me shopping so I have to ask someone what the price tag says or
just cross my fingers and hope its not too much. Just another fun part of getting older.

Vit A really does help!! I had terrible night vision, but it's much better now that I'm taking the A.
I needed glasses on my 40th BD. It was the exact day. I realized I couldn't read my birthday card! My Dad said " yeah.. well, happy 40th! Welcome to the I've-turned-40-and-can't-see-past-my-nose CLUB!"
ARGHHH!!!!
