a few days ago I got compounded e2e3 in a syringe in a cream form. I am supposed to put .1gram each day on my forearm. but last night I did it before bed and I was tossing and turning and wide awake like I had espresso for a bed time snack lol!

so what time of day do you take your estrogen cream???
Thanks,
Heidi

Estrogen tends to energize, so it is best to apply it in the morning. I will sometimes use a wee bit before bed to prevent hot flashes during the night, but I never use a whole dose, like I would in the morning. And who knows, you may not have an issue with night flashes at all using it in the morning. We are all so different.

If you ever add progesterone, that one is generally best used at night as it tends to have a sedating affect on many women and helps them sleep.

thanks, after a sleepless night, I took my estrogen cream this morning... and am hoping to drift off soon. I remember how sleepy progesterone made me back in the days of trying to conceive, and being dosed with shots, suppositories and pills of progesterone. tired, vivid dreams, and an urge to bake stuff lol
