ok, i've just about had it with this darned thing! I don't know if this is ovarian in nature, or IBS .... because I do have IBS ......... i keep getting these deep, weird, sharp pains or twinges around where the left ovary woudl be .... now, i know that the intestines are there as well, and i've had trouble with IBS for years.......and a lot of these feelings are famiiar,,,but this other deep sharp pain is new .... so................

anyone whose had ovarian "pains" or aches, or twinges, or shooting pains....please post ,and tell me about them..... I need to know more about this .......... I know plenty of women deal with ovarian "pain", and I don't usually get that ..... I have gotten that during my period, from time to time....but this is BEFORE my period, (it started a few days ago, which was also an IBS attack...which made it about 6days before my period) ........ it makes me feel kind of sickly when i get this pain ......

I have had a shooting/stabbing pain before. Sometimes even when I stand up it has hit me...kinda like a catch. It goes away pretty fast though.

Hi everyone...

I'm just at the 12 month mark of having no period...Just turned 50 feel pretty good..
However, recently i have some pain in my hips and a little pinch over my pubic bone..Not a UTI went to the doctor......

Some back pain as well...nothing TERRIBLE..rather like achiness in low back and hips and sometimes around groin....I'M PRAYING that I don't get my period as I've said it's been 12 months gone now.

Just wondering and will welcome any thoughts, ideas etc......

I was just now on the boards looking for people like you that have had this!! For the last couple weeks I have noticed a sharp pain in my left side, not quite so far down as my pelvic area, but just above it. It comes on really fast, and goes really fast. Sometimes it is really bad, almost where I have to just stop and stand for a minute, but it goes away right away. And it leaves kind of a funny feeling where it happened on my side. Not sure what this is. I have no other symptoms, and have been without a period for over a year and a half. Some people have told me it could my body trying to ovulate, and this is the egg trying to get through. I have no clue what it is but I don't like it one bit. I don't get it every day, but for the last couple weeks it's about every couple days or so. Any idea what this could be??

i have recently started getting a bad pain at the left ovary area, and this morning i woke up with both ovaries hurting, and the most immense nights sweats i have ever experienced.......i had the same thought, it reminds when way back when i did go thru ovulation, like my body is trying to do so again. when i did ovulate, my pain was very intense.
just wanted to put my 2 cents in, i don't know what's going on with this.
