ok, so with my peri through the roof..hot flashes and every other symptom imaginable..I also have some new skin tags on the right side of my neck area...mostly loose, but a couple that seem to just be starting and are kind of hard to touch..alwaysw had a lot of freckles, and moles...

Dr. thinks it's increase in hormones due to Peri...yes? anyone else have these or seen an increase in getting them who is in peri?

thanks for the reassurance

Yep, I have. I have those on my neck too and under my arm and little red dots (cherry angioma's) a benign skin thing. Amazing the stuff we are noticing now, lol.

From what I hear it's simply a sign of aging! bummer. In my experience, I've noted that men get them too so I'm not so sure it's related necessarily to peri. I've had a few but was able to pinch them off myself except for the ones under my arms. Had those removed while I was asleep during my recent tummy tuck. For the time being, I'm good to go!

Last month, I had 12 skin tags removed from my underarms at my yearly skin cancer exam appointment by my dermatologist's MA. Five of them were big, and the rest, I didn't even know were there because they were so small and flat. My insurance paid for it, because the tags were getting irritated by shaving and tank tops would catch on them. She snipped and scraped them off. My armpits felt like I had majorly cut myself with a dull razor for several days, but I'm so glad that they are gone. A self treatment I heard about is tying a thread or dental floss tightly around the tag, and it should eventually fall off.

My doctor told me that skin tags tend to run in families. My Dad has them.
