Hello again everyone .... I'm telling you, this is nuts! I posted the other day, about ovarian pain and bloating, and since then, it's gotten somewhat better, .... today, a bit of the bloating subsided .... see, I wasn't sure if it was ovarian in nature, or IBS ...... so.......now, every once and a while, i still get this sort of shooting, stabbing pain which SEEMS to originate around the ovary area, but I know that the colon is also right there, and I've had similar things in the past where I thought for sure it was my ovary, and it was the colon, it was IBS again! OK, so, I'm still getting those stabbing shooting pains from around that area, or maybe a bit lower....it'll go down into the top of the thigh, OR the latest now......is into my vagina! Yeah, this sure is fun! I also feel, every once in a while when i bend over while sitting down, this weird pressure feeling up in there, maybe around the cervix? I don't know..........all I can say is, Im slowly being driven insane!


If anyone here deals with IBS, would be please post, and tell me if you get ANYTHING similar to this!!!!! Please, tell me your IBS symptoms!!!!!

ONCE AGAIN....PERI MEMORY LOSS....i forgot to add, that the left side of my abdomen seems to be more bloated than the right side ... .is this normal? It also seemed a bit "harder",...but that keeps changing, it'll bloat out, and then go back to normal, then bloat out again....and back and forth.....it also feels like it burns in there .... the last time I had an episode like this had to be at least a year ago.......oh geez, it almost feels as if it centers on one particular spot on the left side colon, almost like a sore spot .........

I have not been dx with IBS, but I know exactly what you mean.....

I get all you were saying as well.......and I have TERRIBLE alternating diarrhea/constipation with "raw guts" and HEAPS of flatulence.....

I don't know if it is ovulation effecting my guts or guts on its own.......mystery.

Sorry couldn't help sweets......just wanted you to know that you are not alone on this one.....

Several years ago when my Ibs was really bad I would get shooting pains into my thigh. All my doctors, even gyn said ibs too. Who knew? It was a quick sharp stab, almost took my breath away and then gone. I still have IBS issues but not usually the pain in the thighs, just the stomach stuff. Are there things in your life bugging you? They say the stomach is the second brain, and when I am upset,even a little, it goes straight to my stomach, like instantly. I have tried all sorts of things to help and a xanax every now and then really does help. Not that I am pushing drugs but it relaxes my system. I once had a gastro doctor tell me how lucky and healthy I am but I am a nervous wreck and need to take something to calm down and he even said I made him nervous. It's just a thought. I hope you feel better.

I have been dx with IBS but don't believe the dx's......ODDLY ENOUGH, I am so bloated right now it is scary, I am not exaggerating in the least. I look a good 5 months preg. I have been, not exactly 100& constipated, but having a really hard time the last week or so. Meaning, my take it for granted bathroom visit in the am isn't as productive as it should be. I am sure the bloating is from that (?) I am however, peeing non-stop.
To get to the point, I had electric like shots that seemed to be coming from my left ovary. I am more than sure it MUST be intestinal/colon. I took magnesium yesterday and even that did nothing. I drink aloe vera, also no result.
I'll give it a few more days and see if it changes. I also have had weird, weird bouts of waking up in the middle of the night with cramping diarrhea in the last few months. I can't get a GRIP ON IT BUT.....i ACTULLY FEEL FINE IF NOT ALL THIS OTHER STUFF!!!! Sorry for the caps

hi ladies.......thank you for all the responses ............. well, i'm still dealing with this ...... now , today, the abdominal swelling went down a bit, which was good......but, now i'm really getting those shooting pains into my vagina! (plus this weird feeling in there, hard to describe really, it almost feels as if it is my cervix....weird)......

when this happens, i get "weird"......maybe it's fear, i don't know. Oh boy......... my period is due any day, but again, who knows! I just hope all this ends when my period comes!

Yes...there is something I get from time to time but like you, I can't describe it.Like it feels heavier and more "alive" lol!!!! Sorry, really don't have then wrods for it. It can kinda sting, but not in a bad way, kinda feels like it has a mind of its own for a few seconds on and off.

sting? ..... well, sort of. .. in a way,.... it almost feels like electrical zaps.....sudden, fast, and sharp ..... so, i don't know if that would be more "alive" or what....LOL!!!!!! ..... this feeling doesn't really feel more "alive" in there, it's more of a "zap" of some sort ..... it also can go deep into the left ovary area....so, i don't know if it IS the ovary or what...... darn....this really upsets me..... you just know my mind is thinking all sorts of things right now......i sit here, and try to tell myself this is prob. nothing.....i know that plenty of women get lots of ovarian "pains", usually quite unexplainable by conventional dr.s'...... but I know that exists ....... but see, when you're sitting here feeling this.... your mind really goes to town!

yes, my darling.......I used to get those pains when I was still having periods...now I am 2 yrs post I still get bloated, I mean last night we had a
roast chicken dinner and that evening I looked like I was about to give birth! I felt constipated too and was very irked when my 9 yr old daughter told me she had a great big BM! I'm wondering if it was the fat content in the chicken that did it?!

This morning my tummy feel slightly upset and I feel slightly nauseous and when I went to the loo I had a VERY loose BM....so I'd really like to know whats up there!

Hi ladies .............. well, the BLOB that wrapped itself around my abdomen, is still here! I mean to tell you, it's like this thick "roll" that has draped itself across my lower abdomen, from one hip to the other .... this "sort of" built up over about 2 mos...but, i didn't really notice it THIS MUCH till about 2 wks. ago ......... the bloating is coming and going (that's the real "bloating" that bloats up underneath this "spare tire" thingy, that makes you look preg.) ...... some of the IBS symptoms are still there as well.......... and those weird pressure shooting "pains" or aches down the vagina....OH BOY!


I don't understand how that spare tire became so darn "there" in the last 2 weeks ..... the two weeks before my period, I DO get all sorts of things, and bloating is one of them..... and i guess that spare tire could be water retention....... but, this time, it's RIDICULOUS! If only that spare tire BLOB would feel more......."watery", or "blobby".... but it feels THICK ..... what is that? Also........ those weird awful DEEP pains that seem to come and go around the left ovary are still hanging on ..... and NO PERIOD YET! When I woke up today, I noticed that the outside of my left thigh, was SORE ..... yes, just sore. When I touched it, it felt sore ..... when i pressed on it..it was definately sore .... as if the muscle was sore in there ... now, that soreness of muscle was also up on the same side....left hip!


this is really to much! OK...........does this sound colon related? ALL of it? I mean, like I said...the IBS thing does flare up sometimes, but THIS IS OVERDONE! .......... Or does all this sound ovarian in nature?
Being that I'm due for my period any day now ................. I'm so DETACHED it's not funny ..... i feel lightheaded and "off", this really is fun!
