Hello

I am looking for help, search the boards did not find anything on this so here goes

I am 40 yrs old
Had complete hysterectomy in April 2009
I am on BHRT
I use to take Progesterone in Troche now I take in cream, take 200mg because I started having major acid reflux-heartburn
Take Biest 1.25 mg and Testo o.5 mg in cream

my levels are
P 16.8
E 100
T 15 (was 97 last month and lower what I take because I felt "crazy" now it is too low)

anyone here had Acid reflux issues after surgery and starting BHRT?
at first it was so bad I thought I was having a heart attack

I know it is related to my hormones, I just dont know witch one it is

In short, it is Progesterone.
if you had complete hysterectomy why do u need to use progesterone and not just it, but also at 200 mg, I assume single dose? Without knowing your history, it is hard to understand whole picture, but in general, you can safely skip progesterone if you have no uterus.
Search this site and you will find dozen of posts on progesterone and acid reflux connection, I had same issue with progesterone, it relaxes LES and makes food move through digestion system slower, causing reflux.
You can also stop P safely for a months and watch acid reflux go away, I had non-stop heartburn on progesterone too.
Again, not sure why you need P and why such a high dose in cream...
Just a thought.
Best.

2nd what Iradan said.

Also might want to find out if that is Total combined Estrogen level. You really want to know what the estradiol level alone is (not combined because the Estrone part is from body fat.) Estradiol will indicate what you're actually getting from the b/hrt. Regards, JZZ
