wish it would slow down abit can't believe another year is nearly up!!

Ain't that the truth, here in Ausralia christmas stuff out all ready in the shops...

Christmas stuff is everywhere here in the US. Halloween is still 2 and half weeks away.
I can remember when each holiday was celebrated and then the stores and everyone else prepared for Christmas.
It is not that way anymore.
And yes, time seems to fly faster the older I get.

Please don't remind me. I was just thinking about this today. I was thinking about one of my past jobs where it seemed that everyone was pregnant at once. We had twelve babies due on just our floor! This was in the early-mid 90's, and it hit me that those "babies" are all now in high school! It just does not seem that long ago. And the idea that I am nearly 50 years old? Absolutely impossible. There's no way I've been out of high school 30 years. Or is there???

Did you guys notice that once you turned 30 yrs. old time started to speed up?And it seems to go by faster and faster with each year.....even summer used to seem like it lasted forever...and today,i have the heat on....

That's so true.....I remember when my Mom was in her 50's like I am now. She would talk about how fast the time was flying by....I just didn't understand back then.....

Sure makes me realize how important spending time with my family is.

I was just thinking today...Did God speed up the clock cuz man the days just seem to be flashing by, I too can't believe it is almost Christmas @!

the time speeding by bothers me to the point of depressing me........I'd very much like to slow it down!

I feel the same way caz. I just keep thinking about how there's more time behind me than there is ahead. I mean do I really need a new roof with a 30 year warranty? Sad isn't it.

Just think....eventually we'll all be concerned about whether we should be buying green bananas....

Sorry...had to throw a little light-heartedness in the mix. But it's true. My mom is 68 (I'm 49), and she tells me that time goes by so fast for her that she feels like weeks are only about 3 days long. I too remember when someone told you Christmas was four months away and you said "FOUR MONTHS!!?!?! THAT'S FOREVER!!!!" Now it's like "Four months!?! That's not NEARLY enough time to get done all I need to do!!!!"
