My dad is having a hard time dealing with his friends of 50 or so years. His friend is 85 and in ill health. It's the wife I am asking prayers for. She is 83 and went in for a routine biopsy Monday. They found cancer and took both her breasts on the spot. At 83!!! NOBODY should have to deal with something like this at that age. As if old age isn't hard enough. This floored me. I'm not close to this couple but they are my dad's best friends and he is hurting watching them go through this. Please keep them in your prayers ok?

Absolutely I will keep them in prayer.
I cannot believe they took both her breasts on the spot!!! Man, that is horrible. Going through this at any age would be awful but when elderly, ugh.

yes my granny at 90+ had a breast removed i couldnt beleive it at that age, i think alot of it goes to the money hungry dr,s that look for every precedure and operation avaiable , i bet if she didnt have insurance they wouldnt be so fast to do it,,,,,
