I feel like I have had 45 cups of coffee and it is NOT the kind of buzz you enjoy. It is nonproductive where I just can't sit still but can't get anything done!!! I know I'll deal with insomnia issue for a couple of days. Did last time too. I can deal with that but the buzz is driving me nuts!

I took b12 injections starting this past july(1 a wk for 4 wks then once a month..for one month and switched to b12 sublinguals as i didn't like the crashing feeling b/w the last injection and the time for the next shot..i started crashing about the 3rd wk and it seemed the month shot didn't do anything).
When i took the weekly shots, i didn't feel a benefit until the 3rd shot and then i felt REALLY great...(for 3 wks).
I did get a high jittery feeling after the 2nd shot. Major jitters. I made sure I drank a LOT of water that whole month, seems to keep the blood levels of everything at a better keel.
With the sublinguals i was told by the dr., to take 5,000 micrograms, (spaced far apart) which i did for a couple of wks., and then lowered the dose to 2,500 mcgs a day..as the 5,000 mcgs were a titch too much for me ..insomnia..jittery.
all in all tho....the sublinguals are working good. not back (yet) to that marvelous feeling i had after the 3rd shot....i think if my dr., would allow weekly injections, i'd try that as injections get right into the bloodstream..absorption is quicker and steadier.
i take the 2,500 mcgs at 830am, after i eat something of "value".

At first I remember laying down to go to sleep....I felt like I could go run a mile. After a few injections, this feeling wore off.
It wasn't a bad feeling...just very odd. After a few of them, I did not have this feeling anymore.
It's funny, but I don't tolerate subling. B-12 well. ???? Injections are fine. ????
Don't stop....

Oh you couldn't pay me money to stop! I just don't like the first day or two after the shot. I felt better after just my first shot. The nurse said I would be begging for my second. I was jonesing for the second shot a week before it was due. I feel like a junkie!!! Sublingual don't work for me. I don't absorb them at all. It was a bit hairy giving it to myself but once done I'm glad I'm doing them at home!

Hey ladybugs,
I too am on the injections and just like you in the beginning the shots sent me through the roof with uncomfortable jittery-ness, it was almost bad enough that I was dreading the next dose.I have been taking them for several months and that feeling has almost disappeared completely. I feel 100 x better since my Dr. prescribed them to me.
Hang in there ,
it will get better
Just wondering, what symptoms did you have ?
