Hello Anyone know if it is normal to bleed while reducing the dosage on the vivelle dot?
I am slowly reducing due to continual side effects like Headaches and heart pounding and anxiety. I added a very small dose of progesterone and want to keep taking as I feel more normal on it, but not sure if this bleeding is a period or what, I ahve never had abnormal bleeding before. Sometimes I wonder about taking bioidenticals... my hormones went from feeling messed up to terribly messed up.

Anyway, if you have reduced dosage and had bleeding please let me know because it is WORRYING me!!

Twice when I was hospitalized for emergency surgeries (not GYN surgeries), I wasn't given my Vivelle dot while in the hospital and I got REALLY heavy periods after the surgeries, gushers! and I wasn't due for a period, they came early.

Not sure if that is relevant to your question since I didn't reduce my dose, I stopped it completely for a few days and got a bleed. Plus the surgery, anesthesia, antibiotics etc might have played a part.
