I'm so excited I can't stand it.

The past five years have been hell..........off and on hell...........mood swings, you name it....... I'm 52.....BTW
i'm on paxil and xanax (to sleep) and have been for 18 years, and will be for life.

I am so excited about not having a period for a year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have no idea how I have been counting this date down.......
Don't know if it's my imagination or not, but i feel so much better...
Course, having a gang green appendix removed last week could be helping too.......................

That's AWESOME!!!! I'm so happy for you. Over the last 6 months my periods have started getting irregular (FINALLY, after five years of crazy symptoms). I know that means things are starting to wrap up. I can't wait for the day it's all over. Congratulations!!!!

If you asked me two years ago would I ever make it to menopauseland I would have told you I didn't think so. Went through the heavy bleeding, frequent periods and so on. Then finally last November I had my last one. And the funny part was it was a perfectly normal period, like I used to get. So far nothing since. I have 6 weeks to go........then I will also do the happy crone dance.
