I hate to be repetitive, but I just need some sympathy, I know, I am a baby but I am feeling cruddy and just want to whine.

I went to the doctor's yesterday and have a sinus infection and double ear infection. I worked this morning felt ok, not great, but ok. By 1:00 I was very tired, came home, chilled a little, then got busy at home. Now, my head is throbbing, the top of the head, the temples, the back. I know I have to give the antibiotics tie to kick in, I only took one days worth so far, and started with mucinex d for the congestion, but my patience is running thin. I have to work tomorrow and want to, but I just am sick of these sinuses of mine. Between this and TMJ my head always hurts along with my cheeks and ears and jaw. The last infection was June, but I suspect the season is not going to be good. I tried the netipot and it's only a quick fix.

Sorry to complain, I just needed to let it out. I know there are many worse things and I shouldn't take up space with this, but I knew this was the place where I could be free to talk.

Thanks for listening.

I totally understand how you feel..i suffer BIG time with sinus pain...no fun...the only thing that helps me is a hot pack on the back of my neck or someone to give a good massage.
Im sending you some healing hugs smile.gif

So sorry you are feeling so lousy. I know people who get these. It's no fun. I have heard that getting your wisdom teeth out can really help. It is also supposed to help cut down or eliminate migraine headaches. Just a thought.

I hope you are feeling a touch better today (((hug)))

I suffer terribly with sinus problems, so I am right there with you..face pain..ughhh!

I also use the netti pot, yes, it does help temporarily..but it's something right? I know a hot steamy shower helps me a touch too.

I hope you had a decent night sleep!!

Feel better~

Hi everyone,
I just got in from a long day at work, and a visit with family. I did work, and you know, it was a good distraction. the good news is I am so tired I should sleep really well. The antibiotics are kicking in, 500 mg three times a day should do it right? I am just waiting now for the yeast infection. I am sure it's around the corner.

Thanks for all the sympathy, you guys are the best.

Have a great day tomorrow.

ohmy.gif I certainly can fully understand, and you have my sympathy with you also.
I have this week been dealing with chronic sinus headaches and face pain that I also have had to go to the doctors for this week, to be given antibiotics, and I also have TMJ.
Hard to work out at times whats causing what TMJ or Sinus as both can be quiet painful.
I get days where the pressure on my face is painful to touch. All this stuff kicked in when I turned 51 and has not let up. This also can give you high anxiety as you just don't feel right from neck up. Dizzy, eye pain cheek pain and neck stiffness congestion and fullness in the ears sometimes.
I do find for the TMJ having a mouth guard at night does help, and regular massages on the face and neck with warmed castor oil with a heat pack helps for me. My job doesn't help the situation as I work at a computor all day long and I have to watch my posture and muscle tension.
So I hope you feel better.

Oh, I hope you feel better too. Working on a computer is very hard with TMJ. I have been house painting and that hurts too, I tighten up when I paint, I dont' even realize it. The combo of the two is really annoying. It's hard to tell which is which. When I drive home from work, my face and ears ache. Yes, I get anxious as well and sometimes sick to my stomach.

Here's to a good weekend.
