HI ALL,
I AM NEW TO ALL THIS AND I AM NOT HAING A GOOD DAY I TOOK MYSELF OFF OF ZOLOFT FOR A FEW DAYS IT SEEM TO BE MAKING MY THOUGHTS WORSE LIKE DIEING, CANT SLEEP, TIREDNESS, ETC.,

AND NOW I AM NOT HUNGRY AND I SLEEP MORE.


I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE THAT HAS CAME OFF OF AD'S HAD THE SAME REACTION.



RIGHT NOW I FEELING FIGGITY BUT NO ENERGY.

MY DR WANTED ME TO GO TO THE MENTAL WARED BUT I CANT MAKE HIM UNDERSTAND ITS NOT IN MY HEAD ITS MY HORMONES.....MEN SHESH AND MALE DR'S A DOUBLE SHEESH

I AM GLAD I FOUND THIS PLACE AT LEAST I DON'T HAVE TO FEEL ALONE GOING THROUGH THIS. MY BEST FRIEND JUST STOPPED AND NOT HAD ONE PROBLEM. SHE DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM GOING THROUGH...WELL ITS TIME FOR A GOOD CRY.

so sorry you are not well, but you should of taperd off slowly or switch to a different one , alot of women have to go thru a few until they find the right one, have you tryed lexapro? that one has fewer side effects, good luck either way......

Hi Angel,

I'm new here as well but have a lot of experience with AD's. You should NEVER abruptly stop taking an AD as you could experience terrible withdrawal symptoms. Did you tell your DR. that you were doing this and why did you stop taking the Zoloft? Also, how long had you been on it and at what dosage? ("I'm not a Dr. but I play one on TV") biggrin.gif
FYI, I am currently taking Effexor and Zoloft.
