For the estrogel users, do you find that when putting inside your arms that it feels hard or tight on the skin for awhile? Does this mean it's not absorbing? I've wondered about this because I use the same dose of estrogel and my estradiol levels are never very similar. Way high at one time and recently as low as 12 right after dosing with it.
Is it possible that some people don't absorb the gel and maybe should use cream instead?

Hi Corky,
How do you put your Estrogel on? I squirt it on one arm and use the other arm to rub it in from my wrists to my shoulders on both arms. I also rub it on the inside of my thigh(s) at the same time....ahahahaaa. Sounds weird, but I can do it. I'm pretty flexible....;-)
I rub it in until it's dry. There is a slight tightness on the skin for a very short while (minute maybe) that I attribute to the alcohol in the gel. But it's gone very quickly.
Can you get a sample of some compounded cream to try out?

I alternate between the arms and the thighs. I think if you use the same place for a long time the estrogen receptors become overloaded and stop absorbing. So a week on the legs, a week on the arms..... Maybe that will help you.

Maybe that's it. I use the inside of my arms all the time. I'll alternate with the legs.
