Full Version: SAD on top of depression...

Any others out here who have trouble with the seasons changing this time of the year. I so much dislike the shorter days coming with it getting dark sooner. I love the fall and the beautiful colors but as the days become shorter and shorter it puts me in a bad place and I already deal with depression on top of it.
I feel like I want to get ready to hibernate!!! sad.gif

Do you have a SAD light. I got one last year. Although I don't think I have depression or really SAD I was so fatigued that I thought I did. But I have a friend with SAD and the light really helps her.

Yes I have that one too! I'm also getting ready for hybernation. Although I dont mind being in the house when its cold. As long as I have my fuzzie socks,blanket some chocalate and something good on tv and Im happy. I also have the light and it doesnt seem to make much of a difference.

One of the best things you can do is get out in the mornings for a walk.It always makes me feel better.GOD-bless

I do try to get out and walk in the mornings when I don't have to work. I guess here lately I just feel like I'm carrying the heavy load!
I do have a light, but it really doesn't help much.
