does anyone else feel their blood is boiling sometimes along with the toasty face?? at first I thought I was fighting a fever, but I am now sure it is menopause as I am well in myself apart from being a beacon face blink.gif

Yes !! I had a terrible hot flash yesterday and my face and ears were on fire not to mention red as a fire truck,My face felt like their were stickers sticking me under my skin it was so intense and a little painful.I became nauseous and felt panicky. It took about 3 hours to completely go away.I also had another one today.I am due to ovulate tomorrow so I sure that's the trigger behind them. I haven't had one that bad in a long while. I hate Hot flashes but will take them over peri anxiety and depression anyday tongue.gif Besides, They are a quick reminder that YES this is hormones and NO im not going mental =]

I have suffered with hot flashes since 2003!! At first I would think....Wow, is it ever HOT in here!!

I started asking people..."Is it hot in here?"...and they would say no. I figured out it must be hot flashes. I was only 42.

I went thru menopause at 46. I started hormone replacement at 47. I am now just about 49. I still use hormones, I still get hot flashes!!

Sometimes you wonder if you are going to suffer from that crazy Spontaneous Internal Combustion, and just burst into flames from the inside!! On hormones I flash 2 or 3 times a day, off them it was 2 or 3 times an hour!!
