Suzanne Somers has reportedly suggested that Patrick Swayze was "poisoned" with chemotherapy.
The Three's Company star, who is a cancer survivor, has said that the actor's cancer could have been healed holistically with proper "nutrition" instead of using the common practice of chemotherapy, according to the New York Post.
Somers said: "They took a beautiful man... and put poison in his body.
"Why couldn't they have built him up nutritionally and gotten rid of the toxins?... I hate to be this controversial... but I have to speak out."
Swayze died last week at the age of 57 after a 20-month battle with pancreatic cancer.
Oh dear! This vacuous woman really should stick to her career in repeated plastic surgery rather than make herself look such a fool.
Pancreatic cancer is the most vicious and untamable cancer there is. Diagnosis to death can occur in as little as three weeks. I watched a 40 year old friend, who was about to compete in a high profile sporting event, die within a month of diagnosis. To suggest that building him up and getting rid of the toxins would have saved him is absolutely farcical. This woman has no medical training and yet she feels that her opinion is of relevance to the wider world. Her cancer was a completely different type, probably self induced yet easily curable with the correct treatment. I think that she will come to regret this silly outburst because it illustrates exactly what she is. A misinformed amateur who enjoys telling people just what they want to hear, in order to make money.
RIP Patrick. I pray that this woman doesn't make any money out of your misfortune. It is a shame that she sees your tragedy as a way to advertise herself and her 'dodgy' methods, whilst pretending to be concerned for you.
