Prayers are on the way but in the meantime, start taking zinc supplements or more specifically Zicam. It really does work!

Lady...
Prayers on the way.....
Zicam is good. D-3 is great and so is olive leaf. However, you probably feel too bad to get any of these things.
Sometimes kids make me sick, too! LOL!

Thanks all! I am a SUPER zicam user. I started slamming it the first symptom I got and am damn near o.d.ing on the stuff I'm sure. Ended up taking a darvocet so pain is tolerable at the moment. Tomorrow is gonna be a bear though I'm sure. Thank God it's friday and I only have one more work day to go!!! Son is still sick so he will be here to help a bit too. Thanks for the prayers, I know they work! Ah choo!

Ladybugs - sorry you're not feeling well...do you think you have the swine flu? do you have a fever? I was just thinking, maybe you should stay at home to be on the safe side so as not to spread the infection and you can have some much needed rest at the same time!

Maybe you should close your doors until you feel ok to work again. It's hard, I know, but may be a necessity.
Take care and get well FAAAAAASSSSST!!!

Thanks girls. Bev, I AM closing my doors today. I'm not spiking a fever yet but I am really dizzy. I do not know WHY I feel so bad about having to close my doors. I do it MAYBE once or twice per year. I shouldn't feel guilty because I am sick. My parents have no qualms about calling last minute and canceling their kids because THEY are sick! Maybe it's the last min thing for them to scramble to find daycare but today I JUST DON"T CARE!!!

Hey Lady!
I am so glad to hear that you are going to close up shop today and get some rest. If the weather is good, open your house up real good and get some good clean, fresh air in there. If nothing else, it'll make you sleep better. You mentioned having to take Darvocet for pain. You do sound as though you may have the flu so keep an eye out for a fever. And remember, the most important thing is to stay hydrated. When you are feeling better you probably should wipe down everything those kids have touched. I love children but they are walking, talking petri dishes and are little Typhoid Marys. Get some sleep and take care of yourself. I hope you feel better soon!
xoxo

Lady, I know EXACTLY how you feel! I felt the same way when I would get sick, but they should know that these things happen and it is beyond your control! It is THEIR place to have alternate care arranged for THEIR children. No, it's not easy sometimes, but it's called LIFE!
I am so glad you decided to close down for the day.
Get some REST and try not to worry!
Many Hugs,
bev

Something else I was thinking besides what Jan sugggested about opening up the windows, which you probably already do. Because I live in FL, I was not able to do that very often, but I bought myself one of those little hand held steamers and every morning I would steam clean everything that these kids touch and especially after someone was sick, but it still happens.
Take care of YOURSELF!

Hand held steam cleaner??? What is it? I am SO glad I closed today. I would feel semi normal one minute and then just WIPED the next! Now, both the boys are sick...yet hubby stays well....hmmmm. I have decided to cancel the new baby even though I need the money. He is causing me WAY to much stress and I am starting to hate my job because of it but I am noticing my body is starting to react to stress in some really weird ways. Lots of intestinal issues which I am not used to and Im pretty sure THAT'S stress. I think it's time to slow down before I end up working myself into an early grave!

Yes, Lady, a handheld steamer. Mine is a Scunci, but I have seen a Shark steamer and other off brands. I like them because they use no chemicals, but beware, they will take the paint OFF of painted surfaces.
